As well as being the creative director of the business, Chris is the main photographer within Magenta and has been a commercial photographer since 2006. With a wealth of experience photographing products, interiors, people and food all over the country he has shot many things, from the mundane to the magnificent, and everything in-between, giving him a wealth of experience for most situations.
Chris studied photography for 3 years at Glamorgan University and upon leaving set-up Magenta Photography with the aim giving the good folk of South Wales the highest quality commercial photography to rival the studios of London. 13 years in and Chris is as passionate as ever and is constantly looking forward and developing his skills to keep raising the level of photography he can offer his clients.
A keen martial artist, Chris holds a black belt in Korean Kickboxing (no late payments please) and is a very proud ambassador and official photographer for Velindre Cancer Hospital, a role which has seen him climb Kilimanjaro twice with the likes of Martyn Williams and Rhod Gilbert, and walk the Inca trail to Macchu Pichu.
Marie has over 10 years experience managing a variety of teams in different office environments all across the UK. She loves variety and gaining new experiences but is ultimately happy putting order into a chaotic workplace (which is why she fits in well at Magenta!).
Relocating to South Wales from England in 2011, Marie loves being out in the most beautiful parts that Wales has to offer. She is a keen runner, completing the Cardiff Half Marathon twice for charity, and loves a Saturday morning stroll up a mountain.
Marie also volunteers as a counsellor for a charity in Cardiff for people experiencing emotional challenges; this adds to her excellent but natural communication skills. She will instantly make all visitors to the studio feel welcome …and provide a decent cuppa!
Luke is in charge of post-production with photography, video and animation. With over 6 years experience working within a branding agency in charge of video production and photography, Luke hit the ground running once he joined the Magenta team. Having similar tastes, goals and ambitions it didn’t take long for Luke’s skills to become an essential part of the Magenta Canon.
After spending 4 years studying in Swansea Luke joined a team of designers and branding experts in Swansea where he honed his skills in video production, animation and photography. With an extensive knowledge of photography, video and animation software Luke can take on any task given to him. His attention to detail is beyond obsessive at times but it get's the job done!
When he’s not behind the camera or at his desk, Luke can be found spinning records and spending way too much money on music festivals.

Paul is a great all-rounder and can take on any project that comes his way, whether he's in the studio working on an animation, cutting footage for a video production or out on a shoot getting his hands dirty.
Paul is an itegral part of the team and gets involved in all aspects of our process. From planning to production to delivery, he's always in the mix.
He's recently become even more useful since he revealed that he bakes cookies in his spare time!
Sapphire is our super-talented designer and illustrator. Sapphire works closely alongside our video and animation team, providing custom illustrations for our animations as well as casting an eye over layouts and type styles to make sure everything is as pleasing to the eye as possible!
After studying Surface Pattern at Swansea Metropolitan University, Sapphire moved into design and has been working as a lead print designer within greetings and stationery. Before joining us she was working as a freelance illustrator, focusing her attention on creating illustrations that lend themselves to the world of animation.
Sapphire is such a versatile illustrator who can adapt to deliver what any of our clients need. She is involved at every stage of our process. From storyboarding and helping us visualise the narrative to delivering high quality illustrations designed for use with an animation software.
She’s also great at keeping projects on track when things get busy! In her downtime she walks her miniature Dachshund Otto. If she can get him out of his bed!
Otto’s skillset offers something different to the rest of the team. With the advantage of being so low to the ground he catches things the rest of the team don’t. Otto starts work at the same time as everyone else yet manages to stay in bed until 16:30 every single day.
He’s as good at chasing clients as he is chasing balls and with a bark way bigger than his bite Otto knows how to make visitors feel welcome.
